Alterstudio Architects is an office in Texas, United States, formed by the architect Kevin Alter, who has as a partner since 2005, the architect Ernesto Cragnolini. The portfolio shows different approaches to residential projects, all with high quality formal and striking details.

Alterstudio Architects was founded in 2000 in a natural growth of academic and professional activities of the American architect Kevin Alter, who studied at Bennington College, Bachelor of Arts and the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he did his masters in architecture in 1990. In 2003, Ernesto Cragnolini, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997, joined the firm, becoming partner in 2005.

Alterstudio is based in Austin, Texas and focuses on the relationship between architecture and the material facts of the social occasions that involve them. Awards and publications are already commonplace in the office routine, as well as interesting works, both in its approach to internal and external, always showing a unity, thinking the details as important elements.
