A shadow is not always what it seems. Tim Noble and Sue Webster, two British artists have played with our perception related to the notion of garbage. They have done some extraordinary work that represents the shadowier aspects of life. Most works are simply made from garbage with light projected against them to create a shadow image entirely different to that seen when looking directly at the disguised pile.
