Quinze & Milan x Eastpak Furniture Collection

The Perfect Office #32

In small apartments having a home office can be difficult, even if you’re working out of a closet. When we first saw this sofa, we couldn’t really decide what to put in all those pockets, snacks? Remote Controls? Tea Cup Poodles? But then it dawned on us… what if it held all of our office supplies? The pockets are large enough to hold file folders, books, supplies, even your laptop. They’d be the perfect place to holster small electronics, cords, adapters, battery chargers — you name it. As long as your cat doesn’t use it for a scratching post, we’re not against the idea in a small space. We like the idea of at-hand storage and it would be much easier to stash away all your gaming controls and not have to put them in a box, on the other side of the room, just to make them look pretty. If you took your average kitchen timer with a rotary dial and combined it with a power strip, the Energy Lock is what you would end up with. The device is a power outlet with three plugs that you can plug your TV, computer, or anything else into.

The plug rotates to allow you to set how long the device plugged in will get power. Once the timer runs down the device is automatically turned off. You can also give the thing a full twist and have constant power. (atSlash Gear)
