Part of the reason for the popularity of divorce cakes is attributable to the lack of taboo surrounding divorce in the modern age. Just a few decades ago, divorce carried a social stigma, and those whose marriages were ending were more likely to keep it quiet out of embarrassment.

nowadays divorce cases are more than matrimonial registration. so why don't we celebrate them toooo..:)
