Smile Chair
"Smile" is the new armchair by Sand & Birch, the renowned Luxury Design studio careful as usual about shapes, solutions and materials, so to make real contemporary sculptures of their interior design objects.
More than a simple piece of furniture, "Smile" is characterized by the clash between the fullness and compactness of its design and the smooth curvature of the seat, remembering a smiling mouth. "Smile" is the perfect armchair to add an ironic and elegant touch in a young, fresh home.
Casual and witty, "Smile" is going to be available in two versions: plain colour blue or white, produced in hard and varnished polyurethane, and the one covered with velvet, cotton and silk, in grey and white. (at Sand & Birch)
Acer Aspire Ethos 8943G & 5943G HD notebooks
Acer have outed a new line of notebooks, the Acer Aspire Ethos series, which promise slick design along with multimedia performance. Two models have been announced initially, the Acer Aspire Ethos 8943G and Aspire Ethos 5943G, with a choice of Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, 18-inch 1920 x 1080 and 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 displays respectively, and ATI Mobility Radeon HD5000 graphics.
There’s also Dolby Home Theater surround support, with 5.1 output, and in fact the Ethos 5943G manages to fit in a full five speakers on its own. Storage is up to 1.28TB (combining two 640GB HDDs) and there’s a choice of DVD or Blu-ray optical drives. (at Slash Gear)
Creative Sound Blaster WoW headsets
Creative had unveiled a couple new sets of headphones that were aimed at WoW gamers. The headphones could be adorned with artwork from the Alliance or Horde factions of WoW and were offered in wired or wireless designs.
Creative has announced that the headsets are now shipping. The Sound Blaster World of Warcraft Wireless Headset is available at online stores like Newegg and TigerDirect for $159.99. The headset has THX TruSource PC audio tech built-in for a full sound experience.
The headphones are Mac and PC compatible and have cushioned ear pads for comfort on those raids that last for hours. The battery in the headset is rechargeable and can be charged while the headset is in use. The wired version of the headset is also now shipping for $119.99. (at Slash Gear)

Kingston have just released a monster of a USB drive. If you thought 32GB was a large amount of storage the Kingston DT-310 DataTraveler can store up to 54 full-length movies, or enough music for you to play a different CD full of tunes each day for a year.
The DataTraveler 310 features Password Traveler software, which allows you to create and access a password-protected privacy zone. The secure area of the drive can account for up to 90 percent of the drive’s capacity and does not require administrator rights. If you’ve been waiting for the release of the Eclipse Litetouch Keyboard you’ll be pleased to know that it has now cleared FCC and it’s nearly available to purchase.
