Form minus Function
It's fair to say that type and ink only ever meet on a printed page. In this series of images, the two elements are presented to us in a way that is a little more unusual. Images of black and white ink in water are accompanied by small typographical letters to generate strange yet captivating forms that appear to float effortlessly in the air.
A contemporary tribute to traditional methods of print.
UNICEF - Potential

www.60uniteforchildren.com APAG have printed a catalogue of 60 international artists in conjunction with UNICEF. The brief was to create a piece of work around the theme of childhood and UNICEF's key values... this was my submission.
It's intended to illustrate the potential within all children, in all situations, all of the time, everywhere. Not all children are given the best start in life. UNICEF help ensure those less privileged children are offered the same chance to develop their potential, regardless of their situation. The numerous columns of text on the buildings describe everything from child poverty and hunger, to childhood diseases, childrens rights and the goals of UNICEF.
